EU Supporting Projects
The operation of the Komondor supercomputer and its services are supported by the following European Union projects:
EuroCC2
EuroCC2 is a pan-European project under the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking. It strengthens the network of National Competence Centres (NCCs) in High-Performance Computing across Europe, enhances user skills, and develops the European HPC ecosystem. In Hungary, the project is implemented by the DKF as the Hungarian NCC.
HPC EDIH HU
HPC EDIH HU is the Hungarian node of the European Digital Innovation Hub network funded under the Digital Europe Programme. It focuses on High-Performance Computing and supports SMEs, universities, public institutions, and other organizations in adopting and effectively using HPC technologies through expertise, test-before-invest services, and training.
These projects significantly contribute to the development of Hungarian HPC services and to making supercomputing more accessible to a wider range of users.
